Redhat, once the leader of the open source revolution had begun to lose relevance. After decades, mergers, and global expansion programmers and users forgot what Redhat was all about.
The Creative Solution
Our idea was to put open source collaboration on display. Taking Redhat’s philosophy out of the screen and placing it in the street. We built a 63-person billboard and placed it directly outside of one of the largest open source conferences in the states.
The results
We caught the attention of conference goers and they shared our message for us. 3.5 Million Twitter Timeline Deliveries, 35% increase in web traffic to Redhat.com, and a 23% traffic increase to Redhat’s social media profiles.
